it was oni a short trip of 4 days 3 nites. we stayed near a place called leiseplein (until now i stil not quite sure how to pronounce it, XD), which hv lots of pubs n bars n restaurent. the main purpose of goin there was bcoz of the tulips which bloom durng spring. hehe. but for now, i wil show the pics of the city 1st. flowers show ltr XD.The colourful clogs. the usual scene in most of the europe country, palace, church, and "tiang". my fren ask, y all the western countries lk to built "tiang" in the city centre as monument? which i also dunno why. care to explain any1? haha.
the second day, we went to the keukenhof garden which is a famous garden in Netherlands to watch flowers, esp tulips. wil show pic in the next post. hehe.
the last day, we cycled ard amsterdam. in amsterdam, there are bicyle lanes every where. i even joke wif my frens, say tat overhere, u either die get hit by a tram, or by a bicycle. lol.

the 2 windmills shown above were actually on the opposite end of each other. we actually cycle fr one end to the other. geng or not? and bcoz of tat, ms wong kah yie is a pro cyclist now. haha.

another unique thg in amsterdam. some of the bridge here can open up to let boat pass thru. i guess the sign above means "bridge open, off motor" (DUH...)
we din go into the museum, since most of us are not museum type of persons. hehe. besides, all the museums nd entrance fees, and it's not cheap (excuses). hehe.
yup, the name of amsterdam come fr this river. they built a dam across amstel river, and combining both, it bcum Amsterdam. simple eh?
it was fun cycling ard amsterdam. i can say tat, if u dun cycle in Amsterdam, den u nvr truly been to amsterdam. haha, ok lah, not tat serious. but shud try it, it was great fun.

[cyber fish]: haha, i act bumped into them once. luckily i am tall enuf, if not...ouch!!! the netherlands gov. once wanna remove all the tiangs, but amazingly, the amsterdam peeps collected 100,000 signatures to prevent this fr happening. looks lk they reli love their tiangs. haha.
haha die die lo.. i duno how 2 cycle :p
